Hey guys, I have been driving my 93 land cruiser on the highway and city with CDL on just to get a feeling how it feels because I wanna convert it to part time 4WD. My problem is when the TCASE is locked and I give the vehicle gas I can hear a whirring noise but when the vehicle is coasting or if I let go of the gas pedal the noise disappears. Should I be worried about this or it’s a normal operation when tcase is locked?
The problem is not present if I just have the transfer case in unlocked position.
