Hi Guys..
I have three days this weekend with nothing to do...:bounce::bounce2:
soooooo... i have my permit and am taking off. the omly question is where?

I was thinking back to hut, but been there now and am looking for somewhere i can swim and take the dogs.
Hut was very nice, very warm, any other ideas?

I dont want to drive for ever, I am in north van, was thinking somewhere along the sea to sky ,, anyone know another spot that will have a warm lake, not to many people and dog friendly?

thnaks.
scott.

i agree cruiser days then boot from there hut, sunrise, sloutet, lilloet, over owl mountain into the birken, fish, back to pembie, hit twin lakes, lost lake, cat lake, hut lake , and bring a fishing rod coho and northern coho running with large steelies just starting.or just criuser days then after club 4x4 hit one of the local lakes first night then slow drive to harrison aggassi then up to jones lake (keep in mind most lakes are quite high right now) i am sure some of the guys at cruiser days would tell you about the "secret" lakes .im in north van too, LV.

opps my bad yes starvation not lost lake, i heard they buggered the road down to it this year .is this true? and probably should not include twin lakes cause that is a supposed no drive to lake now too . to bad you couldnt camo the cruiser to look like a do not copy domestic white crew cab crummy ;)

Starvation is (or at least was last year) gated at the hwy, and the shelf/obstacles at the bottom are long gone as it looks like it was graded at some point... it’s essentially a 2wd road except for the steepness...

The steepness is such that you might need lockers to get out, and it has a waterfall obstacle near to bottom last I checked

The gate is not an issue

I will be at hut lake tonight, then i think i will check out norton lake for sat night.
if i dont see anyone up there have fun where ever you guys end up. Cruiser days is fun, but i dont have the time to go from squamish back to mission then back to the north shore.

have fun everyone this weekend.
scott

I was at the Norton last year when they first opened the gate back up, a little overgrown but not bad. So they gated it back up did they?
