where to get parts for a B engine

Hi

I don't think I have any hope of buying parts for my BJ40 here in the UK. I get general bits and pieces from the US but am stuck for engine bits. Is there a good web site in Australia that someone can recommend for B engine parts?

What exactly are you looking for?

Parts are easy to get worldwide, you just have to figure out what crosses over and what does not. Toyota dealers can get anything they want to, it's really a matter of how cooperative they want to be.

I'm after the small primer pump on the injector pump (the pump that you use to prime the system when changing the fuel filter..)

They can be easily had from pretty much any diesel shop. They don't cost very much either...

Jim,do you have Coaster buses and Dyna trucks in the UK? Also try Toyota industrial . These engines are used as stationary engines and in forklifts ect
Just about everything is interchangeable.
The alternators may have differnt amperage

There is always a primer pump on oz ebay.

should be able to buy that at any fuel injection shop.. I am told the bosch ones will fit. I bought one for 20 bucks. Will let you know.


The bosch ones are nicer, no screw to un do. just push it up and down.
