I too have the Crescent set from Costco for trail use. While the tools are pretty good quality (comparable to husky or similar) I agree the case is the best feature - It's great to be able to tell at a glance whether you left a wrench or socket under the truck or in the engine compartment simply by checking to see if there are any empty spaces in the case before packing it up.

The set is pretty complete - the odd thing however, is that although it is a crescent brand tool set, the one glaring omission is that it does not include a crescent (adjustable) wrench!

After 30 years of using primarily craftsman tools in the garage, and having tried husky, Kobalt, SK, and a few others, I now buy Snap on combo wrenches and ratcheting screwdrivers, proto ratchets and sockets, Klein and knipex pliers, IR air tools, and I'm still trying to decide on my preferred non-ratcheting screwdrivers. Probably Wiha.
