Where is the VVT Solenoid filter screen located?

Computer showed the solenoid wasn't working. We pulled it and tested it and it seems to be fine, but it is not getting oil. We assume there is a filter/screen that is clogged but do not know where it is. Does anyone on here know?

Ouch. On the 1UZ and 3UZ the filter screens are buried deep in the cam towers, so the 2UZ is probably the same. If you can find a parts diagram the oil filter is usually #15678A. Good luck.
