I have been doing a bit of a refresh on my 1991 3FE and have started to put things back together. I have these two mystery connectors left over. They may not go to anything (and currently that's what it looks like) but I wanted verification that I can just leave these things disconnected. The first is near the distributor. It comes out of the same wiring loom as the distributor wiring. The second is in the big bundle of wires near the firewall. Any ideas what these go to? Thanks for any input.

First of all your motor is to clean.:) Just looked at my 91 and I have 3 wires going to my dist. White yellow and red. All in one connector. Does yours just have 2? My harness at the fire wall is all taped up. Can't really tell.

I don't even want to tell you what went into getting it as clean as it is, and I still have more to do. Anyway, yeah, all three distributor wires are present and accounted for in that single connector. The other connector is just a one wire spade-type (like one of the two on the oil sending unit). Thanks for checking.

Ok just looked at my 3FE, it looks like that wire connects to the starter on mine.
