Mine leaked. The ones on front are rubber, no problems. The two on the rear the shop did me a "favor" and put the metal on and they leak.

i need them for stock steel toyota rims.
so if any of you have them where did you get them!

If you really want a set, I could drop off 4 next time I run through the area or just put some in the mail for you (PM a mail addy), but like others have said, it might be better to just stick with rubber which can bend and not break if something gets into the wheel . . . let me know man

I've seen lots of flat tires where a metal stem had a leak. The seal ring they use was the culprit, it is easy to damage.

the key in making sure they are leak free, that most tire shops don't care enough to do this, is cleaning the rim of any rust corrosion where the valve stem goes. Also, use a dab of dielectric grease (won't affect the rubber seal like a petroleum based grease) on the seal itself to help prevent rust or corrosion from setting in.

I'll see what style stems I have and you can pick - hopefully I have a few of the short / low profile ones left yet. If not, then 1" metal stems is all I have. I'll let you know

all right keith, i did install the ones i am using now, and did not use the grease but i did clean the holes real good and the never leaked.
but i am going to put the new tires on another set of rims.
