I inherited my wife's 98 with 160000 on it. It is stock. I just went off road last week for first time since I was a teenager in my grandfathers willis jeep. I was hooked instantly. My first experience was at superlift ORV park in Hot Springs AR. It was great. The next day I drove 40 miles in the Ouchita National Forrest on forrest service roads. I am hooked and need help figuring what I need to do to my 100.

I'm a newbie ,to the forum anyway, and have had a few 100 cruisers over the last few years, latest is a heavily modded 04 V8 auto
New to posts, been reading for awhile
Just picked up a 2002 LX470 this past weekend. Only 44k miles! I still have the 1995 LC with 215k miles, pretty much stock except for the larger Goodyear tires and Rancho shocks. When I replaced the shocks, it turned out only one was working at the time. No wonder it swayed all over the place.

2002 LX470 with just under 68k miles. I intend to leave it stock as it's quite capable already and I'm more of a backroader instead of offroader. Mods look great and are useful for the offroad crowd but mostly wouldn't be terribly useful to me.

Just purchased a '98 with 55K
miles for the 
. Mechanically it is great, just has a few "issues" that need attention... like a broken passenger side mirror, sunroof is stuck open, heat seems to work intermittently, dent in the drivers door. Let the fun begin. I'm looking forward to participating in the 100 section.

Just picked up an '02 LX470. 85k miles, mint condition. So far, the running boards have been removed and the BFG 285/75/16's have been ordered. Deciding on sliders and a rack now. Looking forward to exploring Alaska in my new beast.
Just bought a 99 , I have no idea what I am in for but thought what the hell why not.. Now I can plan on lifting it, ARB, winch...... wait a minute it already has all that. : - )
