I slammed on the breaks to avoid an accident a few weeks back and ever since I noticed that my breaks kinda make a grinding sound and feel when I stop. Has anyone have this problem or is it a major problem that I should take to the dealer?

have your tires pulled it could be as simple as a piece of gravel/mud.have you been offroad recently

I just hosed it off and there was stuff pouring out of the wheel well. Looks like it cleared it all up. I even discovered a nail in my tire! Off the the offroad shop! Thanks all of you!
props to firsttoy for saving monnie the money the dealer would have charged to wash out her wheelwells lol.
when i was typing i wrote that and deleted that
