Wheeling with Kids

If the weather's nice I like to let them ride on the tailgate for the last mile or so up the access road.....

I took my kids across the Rubicon in my 40 at ages 2 and 4. They faced each other in their car seats the whole 3 days we were on the trail. Not an 80, but, fun. No digital pics of that.

I used to put them in a ziplock, then on the roofrack.

DITTO!
I would put a ziplocked diaper in the corner of the rack on Sunday afternoon in the middle of nowhere. I made sure that no branch would tear it out to cause litter.
About Tuesday afternoon at work I would see it there. My boss truly believed that I was a family man!
