Hi, i have heard you can do a wheelbase extension on the front of a leaf 70series by flipping the springs and redrilling the spring perch to gain a 4inch extension.

My question is can the same be applied to the back? Would flipping the springs make the wheelbase longer or shorter and is there any problems that would come with it. Or is the only option redrilling the spring perch for say a 2inch extension.

Also how long is a MWB driveshaft in comparison to a SWB. I know i would have to get a custom extension at the front because they are all the same.

Thanks

Same can be applied to the rear, cant remember the pin offset. Could also fit 75 series rear springs to the rear and move the rear hanger back or really long shackles. Get the ironman online catolouge, has all the leaf spring dimensions from eye pin eye. Very helpfull when doing this kind of thing. One thing to keep in mind is the military wrap, flipping the spring will move it, unless your springs have it at both eyes.
