After poking at PO's bedliner-undercoating I peeled away a chunk of rusted metal in the front right wheel well. Is this inner part of the wheel well that is subjected to all the water and debris the tire throws up correctly named the Fender Apron? Does it unbolt or is it welded in place? (I'm used to MGB unibody.)
You can see the exhaust running out in this first pic. It looks like this apron or whatever is made of two pieces: I assume that was a earlier patch job.
