Title says it all. I'm picking up a new 2007 LX470 on Friday and want to check if this wheel/tire combo will work without rubbing. I've searched but there seems to be some conflicting info on the forum.
Some say that the wheels will need to be bored out, some say they should work, some say you need a spacer, some say they work great on the 200 for sure, but others doubt it.
It looks like the 703 hub bore is 110.5mm and the stock wheel bore is 110mm, so I'm guessing it will fit over the flange unless the offset affects that.
I don't know a ton about wheel fitment, so I'm not sure what I'm looking for to verify they "fit" once I have it up on the stands. As long as the wheel fits over the hub flange and the lug nuts can be tightened down, am I good?
Also, the same for the tire size. Lots of searching, but nobody seems to know for sure if the 35 offset will tuck the 285/75 r17 enough to avoid rubbing. I'm not sure how to check other than buying the tires and adjusting pinch welds and wheel well as needed.
If I'm the guinea pig, so be it, but want to at least check in with ya'll to see if you can lend some expertise.
Thanks!
