Im looking to get new wheels for my 1992 FJ80 currently I have oem 15x7 wheels Im looking for some 17" wheels and wanted to make sure I get the correct ones.

Do i need to find wheels that are 106.1mm or 108mm Ive read conflicting info on other posts just want to clear that up.

Thanks in advance.

Bolt pattern: 6 × 139.7 mm

Center bore (hub bore): ~ 106.1 mm

FWIW, your OEM wheels are probably 16”, not 15”.

I'm pretty sure the 91-92 FJ80 did come with 15" rims. But of course the larger diameter will fit just fine. You'll want 0 offset for a stock stance, or you could go with -6 or -12 (negative) offset to push the tire out for a wider stance and to better clear larger tires.

Nope my wheels are definitely 15” Im running 35x12.5r15 I wouldnt mind keeping the oem wheels but Im having a hard time finding someone that will mount 12.5” wide on a 7” rim… plus the new tires I want they dont make a 35” for a 15” rim.

Thanks for the info sure do appreciate it

Yes mine came with 15” rims…

Got it was planning to stick with 0 offset just wasnt sure what bore size I needed… There doesnt seem to be very many 106.1mm rims out there.

For my 1991 FJ80 I bought EvoCorse DakarSuperZero 17x8.5 ET -15 (Anthracite). Their quality and finish are stunning!

Icon makes a couple of wheels, with different finishes, for our rigs that have the correct backspace. I got the recon pros. Bonus, Delta makes caps that will fit over the front hubs for these wheels.
