wheel sensors

so in the middle of doing my front rotors and brake pads after they almost caught fire and noticed abs type wheel sensors on both front wheels?
I got no ABS and I thought the trans used the speed sensor on top of the injection pump, anyone know what these sensors are for?

It's not the wiring for the electronic hubs?

ha ha yep thats the one, woops,
at least there is wiring there to put a speed sensor there for when I do the 4M40 diesel pump mod int the future
