Is the connection between the snorkel and the air filter box missing, or am I not seeing it?

Unless I am seeing things the wing nut part that holds down the lid if catching only on the one side as the hole is WAY to big.... so nothing is getting filtered?

i'm not a fan of snorkels. Imho, I think most people who have them on their rigs are total posers!
yes, they do have their place. but not on north American freeways ...........
the snorkel on this cruiser is hooked up and fully functional.

First off nice Troopy.. I have not seen a 75 in the US, must be an 86 model or early 87 to get in..
My question is should the air filter not go to the intake rather than 90 degrees straight down..

it's a 2002 HZJ78 and it's here legally. but not for long, then it's going back home across the pond. and it is LHD. long story.....
aftermarket turbo, hence the modded intake plumbing.
what else do you see?!

Maybe it's just the picture, but the battery cable looks like it is way too small...

is that air cleaner for a gasser?? what is the purpose of that diaphram on the neck of that air cleaner? is that some sort of vent valve that opens hense making the snorkle useless because water will just get in there??
