My failure to notice this small detail caused me about an hour of grief.

Funny cuz I was thinking , wow that bosch primer sure filled up the filter quick...must really move some fuel...


what a pain in the ass gettin all that air out....bleed filter, then pump , then injectors...

Might change that filter as all the crud it was filtering is now on its way to the IP. Plus the filter wizards hate those orange things.

Nah, just the bleeder screw was on the inlet, not the outlet.

So it does a great job of bleeding that 8" chunk of tube on the way to the filter, but not the filter itself.

Filter is new, hence the need to bleed...

So me thinking all is good, I fire it up and it idles for 20 seconds before ingesting a filter full of air.

filter isn't orange either, more a burgundy, or a mauve...
