Folks, I've got a question for you.
I'm currently looking for a 93-97 cruiser to do a diesel conversion on. I have no need of the original gas engine, trans, or transfer case.
I'm wondering what they might be worth. I would look upon this as an offset to my cost of acquiring a suitable truck for the diesel engine.
Do these 1FZFE motors transfer easily into older cruisers, like the 40 or 60 series? Is this a desireable conversion?
Or would I be more likely to be able to sell this to someone who needs a new engine for their 80 series? I'd guess there's not much demand for that, because these engines last so long.
