When I went to Hawaii in 2019 I saw all the Tacoma's and tundra's on the Toyota Lot all of them pre fitted with lift a wheels....

A Bay Area dealer in Oaktown has this 1958, I do think it looks good with this leveling kit and wheel combo @69k
I've seen a few 1958s sitting at the same lots, going on 2 plus weeks here in the Bay Area, CA.

Toyota One in Oakland no markups, However the 1958 they added the wheel and leveling kit so it comes out to $67k. Its been on the website for 3 weeks now

Longo Lexus in El Monte is a no markup and a good dealer. That is where I got my GX. Downside, their wait list is hundreds long. I was #88 on the waitlist and got mine in July so they are working through the list.

Another +1 for Longo, if you can get over the wait. Sold me and my brother a GX and a Tacoma at MSRP, no additional add-ons outside of basic port things at MSRP. This is in 2021 too, when their lots were empty. I've not had a bad experience there - my dad also bought an LS430 a long time ago from there and it was the same.

Good to know about those CA dealers. But I dont really want to wait very long. Anyone ever dealt with Sandia toyota in ABQ NM?

Alright, another update. I reached out to a mainland dealer about a nice white 1958, they said that toyota will not let them sell to hawaii residents...

What a joke!

Send me the money I’ll buy one for you.

Did you try Servco lately? Be aware they are going to charge you the 10% island fee.

Hey- JDM808- I was told pretty much the same thing by Baxter Toyota in Lincoln, Nebraska. Primary residence is Kauai, but am going to title, register and garage it in Oregon at another house of ours. Go figure. Have relatives in Lincoln- visit, pick up truck and drive back to Bend. No way- go figure.
