Hi fellow cruiserheads.

I'm thinking of getting some larger wheels for my piggy and i was wondering what wheels from other makes and models fit the cruiser's hubs. it's always cheaper to buy wheels off wreckers and if I can cast my net wide all the better.

I think the wheels i've got now come off a nissan terrano(pathfinder in oz) or a hilux, not even sure it's either of them really.

Thanks guys/girls.

Well, Chevrolet 6 lug wheels fit, but you've got to be careful about the 3.5" backspacing. That's all I know of that will fit.

In general, it is not the hub size that is an issue, but backspacing. Most other brands of wheels have too much backspacing for a cruiser. If you can find something with a little bit less backspacing, like 2.5-3", you will gain very noticable stability on side angles. The issue with rims of less than 3" backspacing is fender clearance, unless you have a lift. Anymore backspacing than 3.75" and then you run into decreased stability and tie rod clearance issues.

also watch hub diameter. some stockers won't fit unless you machine out the centers. i had to do that on the rally rims on my 40
