Is it OK to use old saw gas mix in your car/truck ? I have some saw gas that is more than 6 months old so I don't want to use it in my saw or trimmer or even my lawn mowers. I don't want to just dump it but certainly don't want to hurt the motor in my vehicles.

I burn it in the carbed 40. Good question though, my only concern would be running it through a catalytic converter.

It gets mixed in with my drip torch mix, ie fire starter fuel.

I know it's a no no to some, but I'd use it to clean greasy parts. Maybe drizzle a bit into the fuel tank of an older rig.

Well, from the comments I've gotten so far; I guess it a no to try and use old saw gas in your car/truck.
Make sense though, old crappy gas is just that and shouldn't be burned in any engines.

I use it to kill weeds along my fence. Works better than Round-up.

I'm in agreement with D'Animal: burn it in your car in a full tank of fresh gas. I run stuff like that through my vehicles all the time. Costs too much to just dump it IMHO.
