I still laugh every time I think about it. I drove downtown for lunch break tonight, and as usual I passed several jacked up chevies, fords, etc...but in this town all you get is an old truck with 6 inch blocks in the rear, huge tires with stock gears, subs, and a couple confederate flag stickers in the rear window. I have my recently sas'd 86 pickup in town doing some stop and go with my new gears and as i was cruising along a guy at a stop sign glared at me and said 'What the hell is that?'....to which I replied 'It says TOYOTA right across the grill...'
I thought his wife was gonna fall out of her seat lol. I'm the only older Toyota in this town that I know of that is used offroad so nobody knows what to think when they see me on the road. I love it, should have started building it sooner. I'll try to get some pics of it posted after i get the body lift that the previous owner put in out of it.
