I’ve got a magnetic gray 16 LC with terra. It’s time to get a new truck.

I am either going to get a black heritage, another magnetic gray but blacked out trim and with the BBS black rims, or a blacked out LX.

I don’t really off-road. I usually hate the new LX grill (my wife drives a 17 LX but the blacked out version looks good. Someone has one in my town and I see it a lot). I’m more of an LC guy but not sure about the heritage gold rims and also I do use my cool box a lot and my third row a few times a year.

Why are you getting rid of it????? Enless your getting the Heritage Edition... I see no need to get a newer one with power rear tail gate... I think thats the only difference.... well you lose the 3rd row too

I feel like my 2016 is barely broken in. I plan to keep it forever. Happy someone is providing used LC’s for the market, but I don’t think a new one gets you anything. The grey with terra is a great looking truck IMO. I would keep what you have.

Here is my 2016 with the wheels your looking at.... keep your ride!!!

I have a '19. I disabled the electric tailgate. too slow and kind of annoying :)

Why is it time to get a new truck?

You will get better advice if you explain your needs.

Get the Heritage. My wife is trading her 17LX for a Heritage. It will be her first LC since 1994, when she moved to LX platform

I had a feeling that RyanCA would be the only one NOT to wonder why he is replacing a 16 with a slightly higher number (“20”)....and considering a heritage even though he likes his coolbox and uses the third row.

:meh:-< I won’t quote Forrest Gump’s mom...I won’t quote Forrest Gump’s mom...I won’tquote Forrest Gump’s mom...

hehe

I like things that are different. That LC was originally my wife’s truck. I don’t like the terra. Lots of moms drive standard LCs around here

I may get the heritage.

I want a new truck that’s mine that I pick out. It’s cheaper than a new boat. Probably will get heritage. Thank you.

If it were me I would get a Blue LX570.......

I like the Heritage, but really enjoy the cool box. I thought it was a bit laughable when I bought my first 200, but man, it is pretty nice and cools drinks surprisingly fast. I rarely use the 3rd row, and would be fine without it, but it has been nice on a few occasions in the past. I don't want a large cooler in my rig for day to day use, and the cool box comes in handy. On whitewater kayaking and mountain biking, it is nice to have a cold one at the end of a day. The forged wheels are cool, but wish black or gray was an option. Bronze is not for me.

That said, I had a deposit on a Heritage, but ended up with a lightly used 16 for a price I couldn't pass up on.

If you can afford it just because you feel like it...then bravo. No issue with that. Just hard to relate to since my budget has never been big enough for that. More power to ya!

My suggestion:
Since it seems like you appreciate the cool box ...maybe consider the non-heritage...and buy it through @Eric Sarjeant ...as he is the one dealership I know of willing to truly build it out however you like. And...he’s a good, straight-shooting guy. That way, you could get the version elements you actually want, rather than the Heritage version that might force you to skip certain things.
