What happened to mini truck part prices?

Hello,
My 84' runner is not my first mini truck. What happened to mini truck part prices! It close to the same price for gears and lockers as it is for my 97' JZJ80 Land Cruiser! I'm going to have to rethink my build up on the runner! My 84' is going back to stock. Going to take the 4" lift off as not needed with 235/75/15s!

Parts for runners and minis are and have always been traditionally less than cruiser parts. Components like gears are usually always the same because it still costs the manufacturer the same amount to make a 9.5" ring and pinion than it does a 8". Also depends on where your buying your parts too.

Marlin and all pro are high priced but the quality is worth it. There's also cruiseroutfitters who's a great company along with many others. You can even get gear sets on amazon.
