the outer part of the hubs appear to have been painted. but the inside? wire wheeled the inside and i honestly can't tell if it's just built up crud or was painted at one time. do both sides receive paint? powder coat or high temp necessary?
as for the brake drums, outside is obviously painted. anything on the inside get paint? and again, need powder coat or high temp?
thanks for any insight.

The insides don't need paint as they are going to be filled with grease, also the surface area's that seal with the gasket don't need paint, and the stud threads don't need paint...

Every thing else is good to paint...

If you are re using wheel bearing make sure your remember which bearing for which race, and if you are replacing bearing those old races need to come out...

good luck

That's about what I thought but wasn't sure about the reverse (part that is inside the drum) side. thanks.
