ever since i bought my pig i have wondered what it does ( if anything) sorry the pictures look like i took them with a potato it was hard to get my phone up there.

its only triggered when i have the gas pedal all the way down.

i am thinking it is emission related but i'm not really sure. i dont think i have any other emision stuff hooked up so can i take this out?

ahh thank you for confirming my suspicion. what on earth would a pig need with something that reads full throttle. to be honest once the pedal is halfway down there isnt any power left anyway :pig:

what would that tps be used for? i'm tempted to pull it and see if i notice anything.

Guessing at the beginning of CA compliant 2F production and guessing that the full throttle position sensor must've overrode some aspect of of the emissions.

Secondaries and other fueling would've been at the carb, so thinking emissions implications.

Good running 2F is hard to stay out of the throttle, a recently experienced phenomena.

Never thought I'd ever see the day when barreling through the gears, pushing the pedal to the metal, just to reach 45mph and "plateau" would be fun, but guess I'm getting old.

yeah i was thinking something along these lines when i had the dash apart i noticed that there was an emissions system box but the wireing harnes wasn't attached.. One interesting an probably important piece of information at some time in the past a previous owner "Downgraded" the motor to an F. i have absolutely no idea why anyone would do this except perhaps the 2f Blew up and the PO had an F sitting around in the garage.

all this just leads me to the conclusion that i can pull this switch with no repercussions.
