Oh.. forgot to mention that hooks to the 2" receiver
Seen that too. Expect some noise. Should work OK except for serious wheeling where you'll DRAG the thing.

It's sitting above the OEM hitch . So the hitch will be the first thing that will drag when wheeling...isn't is so??

Above? It doesn't get inserted into the receiver and therefore stick out rearward more?
not bad, but double that $600 and you get bumper and tire carrier all in one...
TJM bumper and carrier combo can be had for about $1300. Or go custom.

Not a bad idea, but yes, it'll reduce the departure angle quite a bit. Still maybe better than scraping the tire underneath in many cases.

Nope.
I rarely ever scraped the 35 when underneath. It was almost always the bumper or something else.
