What are the match marks on the distributor for?

:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

I'm trying to time my 20/22r Hybrid (AGAIN! :bang:) but can't get it running to check timing before the battery drains from the compression being higher...

I got it running and it was @ 20 degrees TDC... I can't get it on the tab.

well good news!!!

I walked right out and timed the bastard!!!

The bad? The machine work I just did, and the fact I can not see where the old leak is... has it leaking right back the way it did before!

halleluya! prais fxxxing toyota gods!

Yes. If I can not find the leak you will see pics of a demolished 22R engine block and a 22R timing cover.

You WILL NOT believe the leak it's got. Might as well be a penny sized hole in the engine and crank pressure is pushing the oil out.

But I really think it's just skrap metal now. Great running block, and all that work I did to make the Hybrid work, gone...sucks b/c of that little break.
