Found a FJ60 today at a junk yard. The guy is crushing it out in a few days; and was wondering what parts I can take off of it and use on my FJ40?
Its been hit in the front end and has a mazda sitting on top. The head is missing also.

thanks for the info
David

front axle stuff will work with a little grind.

diffs...

most drivetrain stuff esp if it's a 4 speed

Agreed. Where are you?

Im using the FJ60 Toyota grill emblem on my '72 40's grill. Works pretty well. :D

Grab the rims, tranny, tcase, power steering box, brake booster and master (For me. :D ) and axles. Also if it has them, the headlight washers would be pretty sweet on a 40. I want to put them on all my vehicles, they are great for washing off the salt in the winter. :D

dude-put that thing on a flat bed and take it to your house and be our distributor of used parts, then return it to the crusher when we're all finished. does it still have a lot of good stuff on it? ie: drivetrain, axles, panels. what all does it have? that sucks that there is going to be one less cruiser on the earth. sad days.
