Love the pics, hope to make this trip some day. One question, thought you towed the runner with the tundra, where did you find to leave the truck and trailer while driving the passes or were these just day trips?

I brought the gumball head, and I stand by my choice!!
We drank plenty of the very delicious local stuff at the bars, but its hard to buy bottles of beer at the bar and let you walk out. didnt care to take time and find liquor stores that sold local beers...

We had a "base camp" in Ouray. Then we would set up small camps where ever our travels would take us. So yes we had multiple tents with us.
you brought beer?!?!? I would have figured a tanker truck of captain was pre positioned for you!!
