Westcott Designs Rack with a cargo box?

Anyone have any experience with the Westcott rack for carrying cargo boxes and ski carriers (or basically anything other than a RTT).

I am currently running a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform and I love the fact that I can attach my cargo box and ski rack by myself in less than 5 minutes.

I have a Westcott rack in my garage my buddy gave me because he no longer wants it. The rack looks great but the way the T-slots work on this model is a design flaw in my opinion as you can't easily attach accessories without disassembling the rack. Unless I am missing something it seems that installing this rack is just going to make a lot more work for me in the long run and I do use my cargo box throughout the year pretty frequently.

Can any real world users chime in on their experiences with the Westcott rack? Many thanks.

I have a Wescott rack on the wife's 250 and have used it for all sorts of things and find it easy to mount stuff too- surfboards, snowboards, and a harbor freight rifle box that i use as additional storage. I bought some eye hooks that slide in the track but mainly just strap stuff to the bars etc. If you need to add a t slot it is simple to loosen the 2 screws that hold the bar in then the bar lifts out on that side easy peasy.

Not much traction with this thread but I figured out a relatively easy solution to quickly attach accessories to the Westcott rack. I rigged up some pioneer rack accessory bars. I used the shorter ones but you could buy the longer ones and cut them down to size for even more utility. Makes this rack much easier to use for cargo boxes, skis, fishing poles or bikes. Last pic is the feet for my cargo box that will slide right into this setup. I run a ski rack in warm weather to carry fishing poles.
