I bought my 60 incher from Man-A-Fre and was looking for the shipping while ordering but nothing popped up. Thought I was getting free shipping. 45 dollars later I felt like an idiot. Should have known. What I thought I was getting for 73 ended up costing me 118. I can't return it because that would be another 45 bucks to send it back. Don't make my mistake.

In Canada Princess Auto carries Hi-Lift and a knock-off...the 48" knock off is $CAN39.99, the 60 is $CAN69.99, The real Hi-lift 60 part is $CAN94.99. As mentioned you get what you pay for...I had the jack case split on a friend's knock off, that was good enough reason to spend the extra on a real Hi-Lift.

found one at a pawn shop in good condition pretty much brand new 48" for 40 bucks. works great I was skeptical at first but I think I might have found a good deal.

You can also buy direct from the Company. I had a 48 inch jack and needed just the 60 inch bar. All the retail places wanted to charge almost the same for a whole new jack. I called the company, explained the situation, and they sent me a bar for $25 shipped. Nice folks.

I also found a Hi=Lift in an old time hardware store in Mammoth Ca. It had a stick on off-brand label, but underneath it was a cast Hi-Lift. $45. I still own that one today.

I ordered a 60" from Princess Auto, for $CAN 94, or $US 83, I can get one direct, but the duty and shipping make it way more expensive...again to me the difference in price is acceptable, just for piece of mind,

I couldn't find a 60" extreme, only 48", not locally anyway...

I bought my 60" Extreme Hi-Lift from www.tellico4x4.com

I got it and the urethane handle isolator shipped to my door for $105 total.

That site has excellent sales once in a while.

What is different about the extreme? Looks to me like they just changed the top clevis and powder coated it. Hardly worth, in my opinion, half again as much.

FYI, I just picked up a new 48" regular old hi-lift brand from 4 wheel parts in Van Nuys for $57.00- plenty in stock if it matters to anyone...

northern tool carires both in there stores and online the cheep imports and high lifts ... they also stock the 60" model....

Hi-Lift Bloomfield Indiana

For the genuine Hi-Lift Jack, make sure it says "Bloomfield, Indiana" on it. I've got kin that live virtually next door to the factory.

I know about them because I was getting unstuck with them before I did that "off-roading" thing. When all you have is a 2WD Dodge and a Hi-Lift, you can make it home in time for lunch after checking the hogs in the back 40...uh, acres, not a FJ.
