Were heated seats an option in the 80s or 450s?

Was going to go this route, but will likely be ripping out the whole interior towards the end of the summer anyway.

Are your swithes the ones that came with the heaters or are the OEM from some other Toyota vehicle (they look like a Toyota switch)?

I got the switches and the work done here -- decent folk, though a little cheesy --

I got mine from Slee. Had an upholstery guy install them for $50.00 which included restitching part of the seat. Don't know if that ebay switch would have worked as I believe Christo's have a low - medium - high setting.
