Hello!
2002 HZJ79; South African / Namibian version, double cab conversion. 12v.
I spent part of the weekend installing a new audio system (2-DIN with CarPlay etc yadda yadda). The install went smoothly enough, in that I wired in a plug that accepts the standard plug blocks that modern stereos all seem to share, so as to avoid cutting into the stereo's harness. I tested all the contacts with a multimeter, and all seems to be in order; I'm receiving power at the switched power contact when the ignition is on, the headlight signal wire is connected correctly, etc etc.
Except: I'm only getting around 2v from the constant power connection, my clock has stopped working, and my turn signals have stopped working. My hazards are working just fine. Also the stereo is not turning on.
Anyone got any light to shed which bad ground I get to try to trace?
