Weight estimated for a stripped 45

I think curb weight for a 45 is about 3,500 lbs per an old thread I found. Any guesses on how much it would weigh without the upper cab, engine, transmission and transfer case? I'm guessing that would take around 1,200 lbs off the weight. Thoughts?

I would guess that to be correct.

I think they are heavier than that I had mine on a scale at the local gravel pit and it came in at 4300 lbs and it had a sbc in it at the time I do have a heavy winch on her though.

Mine weighed out at 36 and change has the stock engine and trans.

Thanks guys. I was looking at towing both the stripped 45 and a 40 but I decided it's going to be too much weight. Going to let a pro handle it
