Water pump differences??

1985 HJ75 cruiser, 2H diesel.
I need a new water pump. How do you tell the difference between a "with fan clutch" vs "No fan clutch" types? I know that may be a dumb question but I can't learn unless I ask. Anybody know the best place to order one here in the US?

You would order one without a fan clutch. The fan clutch is a separate assy for ordering purposes.

Can I just get the rebuild kit? Is there benefit to ordering the entire housing because it's about $130. more??

The rebuild kit is more than likely NLA....

The pump is available in the US though.

Give your vendor of choice a call...

Correct indeed sir. Direct drive water pumps were common on the 2H.

But I have also ordered a 2H fan clutch as well as a 2H water pump w/fan clutch.
