Water Leakage ...

Had some rain last night that's turned into heavy wet snow and not a drop. I was concerned it wouldn't cure in time but it seems to be holding. I did the crack in the trim and then applied some where the glass and plastic trim meet.

Here's what I used and went with it cause it was black.
Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, 3.35 oz. Tube Amazon product ASIN B0002UEN1U
I can see the crack or seam in the trim where the seal mates to the glass. There are actually two, one centered on the front and one on the rear...so I'm thinking they are seams and not cracks. Either way, the water is leaking through the rear one and I think applying the silicone from the outside may do the trick.

I only noticed the one in the back. It's was dry after sitting at work in the rain and snow. I was getting alot of drips from this area, not anymore.

Yes, they're definitely seams at the front and rear centered on the glass. It looks like they start out tightly closed, and after 20 years or so of age and sun exposure, the rubber likely hardens, shrinks, and those seams open up allowing water to get underneath. Adding sealant to both of those areas on mine, and a bead around the perimeter of the glass where it meets that rubber stopped my leak.
