So I had the windshield replaced today, went to a local place in S. Denver the Lexus dealer I called recommended.
Everything looked fine when they finished, moldings look good, no damage to A-Pillar, but when I'm driving home I try the washer fluid and nothing, I can hear the motor running, I filled the reservoir completely full and it's not leaking and the back is working fine.
Is it most likely they didn't reconnect the washer hose under the cowling or maybe the windshield is pinching the hose ?
Is is necessary to remove the washer hose during a windshield install ?
Watching this video from about the 2:20 - 5 minute mark I don't see him disconnect any washer fluid lines when removing the cowling.
LX570 Windshield Replacement
I of course didn't realized the nozzles weren't working until after they closed at 5pm. They do open at 8AM tomorrow, Saturday, so I'm going to call them first thing and bring it in, just wondering what to expect as the culprit ?
BTW I went with the Pilkington windshield and from what I've read Pilkington at one time was considered the OEM for Lexus. That's a whole bunch of other threads on 'aftermarket' Pilkington vs. OEM.
