I'm around 90K miles on my 2017 cruiser. When I bought it, they included a certified silver warranty on the drivetrain that expires at 100K miles or 1 year.

I'm not super mechanically inclined, but was starting to do my research of big preventative maintenance.

The first thing I thought of I was having my local mechanic open her up to inspect for any form of valley plate leak. The obvious reason being I could claim this before the warranty expires. Is this stupid? I have no reason to believe this is happening, but figured if there was something, I'd be saving my self a few sheckles.

Beyond that - it seems like fluids and figure out if my radiator PN matches the ones that are blowing up?

Any idea if this is the bad one?

I believe that is the older version. The newer version does not have that distinctly raised feature with the QR code and text sticker.

A keen eye or a borescope can tell you if your valley plate is leaking, no opening up necessary. I believe the updated radiator style is visually different enough to just eyeball it as well.

This, you can use a camera to peek under the intake manifold from the rear to see the valley plate seal.

Pictured radiator is old style - just take a peek at it each time you're under the hood and be ready to buy a new radiator when it shows signs.
