Wanted Wanted: SM420 whole or top cover

I sold the forty but the new owner is still having problems with the tranny locking up in third (I hoped it would "break in"). All I need is the top cover but if that takes buying the whole tranny- so be it. If anyone comes across one or several let me know.

Top Cover or Transmission preferably in Northern California- will pay REASONABLE price.

I did! Not an easy decision but a good one. i sold the forty to focus on the sixty. That, and the fact that I really don't need two trucks as much as the extra cash came in handy. Cheers.
