My F2 has low compression on a couple of cyclinders and whilst I plan to strip it down to check the level of damage, I am interested to know of any F2 rebuilders that are willing to ship engines to the UK.

Wow that will likely cost $$$$. Only #### key handy, sorry. Compression and leak down tests can be done at home cheaply and will tell you a lot about what to do next. If it were mine I would drive it to the shop in France/Germany if you don't have one that can do the work in England.
My first trick of choice is to beat on the suspect valves with a lead hammer while its running - have restored compression that way too many times to count.
