Holy crap! You're right! That's my 40. I hadn't looked that far down in the auction page. We have a number of 40s in our club with the Hell Creek lift.
Tom at Hell Creek donated a 4" lift to our trailride in October, the Southern Cruiser Crawl. His donation helped to make our raffle even more successful. In return, Tom requested a few pictures of 40s with his lift and his Hell Creek Suspensions windshield banner for his website. I didn't know he would put it in his auctions, but I sure don't mind.
I really like my Hell Creek lift. The flex was better than I expected especially since it was the first trailride with these springs. As you can see in my sig line, I have made other mods as well. One of the things I did to improve front droop was to install the F250 front shock towers with longer shocks. When I ordered my lift from Hell Creek, I asked for all 4 shocks to be rear length versus 2 front and 2 rear. The length turned out to be perfect. Only issue I have was the front tires rub on the shocks when aired down and heavily flexed due to the F250 shock tower angles. I need to adjust my bump stops, cut and re-weld the F250 shock towers vertical versus angling toward the tire, or both.
I have a few additional pics from the Southern Cruiser Crawl, but can't post them until articles come out in Trails and another mag.
