Wanted Wanted: Clutch for 1971 FJ40

Looking at buying my first 40. Owner says clutch is shot and needs to be replaced. Any leads/advice on getting one new or used would be appreciated.

Does it have the stock engine, or v8?

I can get a kit for you, but you can also get these parts @ your local dealer or parts store.

Hi All:

I have some used "three speed" clutch parts, but I'd advise contacting "C-DAN" here on MUD for the cost of new OE Toyota "three speed" clutch parts.

This is an early FJ40 with a "F" engine and three-speed tranny, correct?

oh yeah, it is the original F and tranny as far as I know at this point
