Want to install running board lights, where are the oem wirings?

i read somewhere that the oem wiring for the running board lights are on the car however not all have this feature. I want to install an LED light strip for the running boards that will function and could be controlled by techstream so I want to use the oem wiring for the running board lights. Can someone point me to the right direction where these wires are underneath the car... there re so many wires under the car that could be it... thanks
