looking at an older(late 80s) motorhome. It has a perkins six diesel , alison trans., and a waliking beam suspension,. The rig is on a gmc platform, but the susp. looks wanky( looks like it needs bushings on the main hanger under the leaf springs) . looks kind of like a connecting rod (hanger) with a crank ( through bolt). anybody drivin one of these settups ,or better yet diagnosed or fixed one? kind of cool it has a belt driven gear settup that you can ativate the two axles together to create basically an all rear wheel drive system. Or should i run.

ok thanks ,it seems that this system has very limited production. i called a few spring shops, they have heard of them but never seen one. they were for farm field or desert production only. it is a hendrickson design with another drive partener for the tag lock up. the gmc motorhome settups are not really a walking beam settup it seems and considered junk fyi apparently. the one under this m/h looks like it could go under a dump truck, just the bottom slid plates are probably 15"wide by 4' by 5" deep boxed all 1/4 " plated. thanks the same i might go for it , still on the fence.
