Will a W56 tranny/tcase from a '95 bolt into an '85 EFI XtraCab truck w/o any mods?

There's a chart on Marlins website. As far as I know any W56 will bolt up.
there may be an issue with the transfer case. You need to check if it's a forward shift or a top shift in your truck and match the w56 to it... Hopefully that made sense.

That's what I'm worried about. There might be clearance issues meaning I might have to cut the shifter opening which I don't want to do. Driveshafts is another concern too. Guess I can try the Marlin Board.
im swaping my 86 4runner 22 re auto over to 5 speed w56 on sunday. i will let u no how it goes.
I have an extra top shift and forward shift downstairs. I also have a W56 which is going in my mini sometime soon (needs a rebuild). I can take some measurements but I'm almost positive the 2 transfers are identical except for the shifter.
