Under what conditions should the vsv open up the vent line from the charcoal filter to the manifold vacuum? Mine is a deamogged April 77’ 40. Gas tank is getting pressurized like crazy. I can easily draw air (fumes) by sucking on the line. It’s clear. The VSV is just not opening it up.

I’ve pulled the control module and given it a good cleaning and ensured the connections are nice and shiny. When should it open per design?

Right behind the barb on the intake manifold connection was plugged on mine. Have you checked that?
