This is a 1971 fj40. I picked up recently for some items I need for a few projects I’m working on. It’s been off the road since 1985.

Theres a good amount of usable parts on it. The 1f motor’s locked up (oil pan was off it) The roof has been cut into. All the glass is gone. The frame shot.

If you don’t see it on this truck message me I might have what you’re looking for in storage already pulled from other parts trucks.

The steering wheel from this one is pulled I do have another one tho. The window latches are staying with the doors. Not sure what a fd knob is

The FD is the Front Drive knob that activates the front wheel drive (just to the right of the hi/low shifter). Mine has the letters "FD" on it. I can't tell from your photo if yours does or not. It is attached, I believe, to the first linkage in that setup. If you don't get a taker on the doors, just let me know if you would ever consider pulling the vent glass locking handles. My right door doesn't have one, and the drivers door one is very pitted, but does work just fine. They don't seem to be available much on the used market that I have been able to find. None of this is pressing stuff, just checking in case you were like me and considering scrapping the old parts unit. Good luck.
