Tarbe,

I completed the same preventive maintenance activity a couple of weeks ago including upgrading to 100 series pads. Wow, what a difference ! It's a great feeling to complete such a tedious task and be able to immediately feel the results !

Someone did mention sore knees in the thread. I was suffering from "flat foot" for a couple of days due to all the stretching of those lower leg muscles.

Sounds like our experiences are parallel...all the way down to the flat foot thing. My feet yelled at me when I got out of bed this morning. Very odd! I think I found a couple new muscles, too! They seem to be introducing themselves to me... :crybaby:

I am getting old :frown: Just think, in 15 or 20 years we'll be talking about how many trips to the bathroom we had to make during a birf job :D

Congrats on the birf job...i'm planning on doing my birfs as well as soon as the weather breaks....luckily i'll have the internet in the room next to my garage for references..also wouldn't mind a copy of your dvd

I also wanted to add that when we did Tim's truck this past weekend, we did NOT break the birfields down. I didn't want anyone who gets this DVD to complain that we took a shortcut. Everybody has their own way of doing this job, but after looking at the condition of the joint, the moly, the other bearings and seals, it did not warrant a breakdown of the joint, in our opinion. We cleaned them thoroughly, dried them and repacked them before install.
