This has been on my to-do list for awhile. Finally got around to it. Can't beat shiny new OEM hardware.

This should help dealing with fuel pump issues. A couple of notes based on my own recent experience,

Those pesky 8 bolts that hold everything down? There is a solution, but not cheap... The LRA replacement tank has them as 8 studs pointing up, so just the nut to remove to free each up,which lessens the corrosion factor you encountered with the OEM arrangement. It's not a cheap solution, since with the tank attached to them, it's about $2k. However, the feeling of 50% more fuel capacity is priceless.

Yes, definitely install a new fuel sock, as they get rather crumblie with age. If it's not showing signs like the screening broken loose already, it's probably going to soon.

As an incremental fix to intermittent power to the fuel pump is a point of failure often where those circuts go though the top plate. Concealed under those plastic caps is a rivet that carries through to each of the wires inside the tank. My problem child was the positive lead to the pump and cleaning that one up bought me some time time most usefully used to order new to replace.

When starting after having the fuell ines disconnected, turn the key to on for a few seconds to let the pump fill the empty lines to the motor, then turn further to Start and it'll fire right up.

Unless you know it's fresh, it's worth considering changing the filter up front, which TOYOTA installed UNDER the throttle body tubing in the engine compartment. However, just to not it is a PITA to see, let alone get on. You'll want new crush washers (they should be included with a new filter) and maybe another banjo bolt just in case.
